I am a USC fan. I love the west side though. My wife and I like the clubs around Westwood, Century City (Century Club). As far as NCAAfootball its USC all the way. I live in Ventura County and we are split here. Some are for UCLA and some are for USC. Many of the people I work with are alumni or have kids that are.

In reference to the game on Saturday. Someone mentioned that USC would only lose one time out. I thought they were losing a timeout per half. I also think that is cool Pete Carroll is trying to get the tradition back. Who cares if they both don't play on the same field anymore. A tradition is a tradition. Both teams are the home team. Both schools have a rich history here in the area and are loved by many.

That was either a mistake or a rule that changed last second or something like that.

In addition, the UCLA coach will burn a timeout to make it square. Barring a rule change, each coach is expected to reciprocate each season to restart the tradition.

That is cool. I kind of like seeing long time traditions kept within this arena.

Now that the game is over and the Trojans are going to play at the Rose Bowl on New Years lets rate the important things like the Cheerleaders at both schools. I liked the USC Cheerleaders myself.

Watching sports is like masturbating to porn. Sure, your needs get met but not as fun as having actual sex.

What year do you think this photo was taken?

http://latimes.image2.trb.com/lanews...2/43733289.jpg

The LA Times captions it this way:
"USC-UCLA, 1970s
( UCLA / December 4, 2008 )
The 1970s ushered in an exciting era -- including 1976 when coaches John Robinson, left, and Terry Donahue faced each other for the first time -- as the rivals played five times over a seven-year span with a Rose Bowl trip on the line for both teams. USC won seven times in the '70s. In '76, the Trojans knocked off second-ranked UCLA, 24-14. The following season, Frank Jordan kicked a 38-yard field goal with two seconds left to give the Trojans a 29-27 victory."

but I think the photo was taken in 1982. Why? It was John Robinson's last year at USC and UCLA's first year at the Rose Bowl and that clearly isn't the "Mammoth" Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
