lol at the NY Times article.

Thank you New Yorkers for helping us discover this high culture thing called art. Prior to this, us Angelenos were just engaging in low brow culture such as "glittering film premiers" , you have given us the sophistication to appreciate these things you call "art galleries" . What would we do without NEW YORK , for without NEW YORK there would be not art in Los Angeles.

Now that you and your people have improved the art scene here ...you can work on getting us better bagels and pizza.

Hey, is Los Angeles still considering the freeway parks?

Even on NYC the NY Times is crap, and has ridiculous bias. So if they can't cover their home city well, how then can they cover another city (Los Angeles)?

The NY Times should be taken as comedy/entertainment, not serious journalism.

It's the Ny Times that proposes ridiculous solutions for education for the worst neighborhoods in NYC. Their idea of how to fix neighborhoods that are Inglewood bad are to give a few poor kids scholarships to go to private schools or to send a percentage of the kids in the neighborhood to charter schools. Meanwhile their parents are broke criminals in and out of jail.

The New York Times is superficial at best, and the same for it's articles.

So please don't take BS written in the NY Times seriously when it pertains to LA, as they can't even get NY right.

LoL NYC feels so threatened by LA that they have to take credit for LA's growing art scene.

I always laugh when New Yorkers try to act like experts on LA culture.

I knew after reading the very first sentence in that NYT article what kind of piece it was going to be, and I wasn't wrong. LOL indeed.

NYC gets so mad that LA doesn't give a crap about them. It is actually kind of funny to see them all get worked up about it.

Everyone in Chicago, SF, Boston, DC, and Philly just bow down to NYC and they get so intimidated by them.

I don't get it.

If you guys think the NY Times is bad, try reading through more than a few of the comments. The smugness there puts the article to shame.

So why are you even commenting? If you really didn't give a crap, you'd ignore completely.
