Fontucky knows, like I know, that the SFV is about 10 degrees hotter than LA. But he is right, Woodland Hills is not a bad place, if not a bit sleepy. But who am I to complain about living in a sleepy town?

Woodland Hills is consistently the hottest spot in LA during the hot months. I seem to recall 119 in the recent past.

EDIT: Yep, 2006: http://woodlandhills.patch.com/group...ns-up-the-heat

Yeah, we knew about the heat before we came, but we were counting on it being the clichéd "dry heat" that Texas doesn't have. As long as the Summer evenings cool back down into the 60s, I'm just fine with the heat. It's also nice to be able to jump over the Santa Monica Mountains to cool off, if needed.

After reading everyone's comments on this CD topic. LMAO! This reminds me of the SNL skit, "The Californians." LMAO again!

Yeah I think you should go home now.

You need to take the East on Wilshire Blvd from Santa Monica then turn left North on San Vicente Blvd (you're in Beverly Hills).

Until you see the I-10 Freeway back where you belong.
