You must mean the Venice Neighborhood Council.

Venice Neighborhood Council | Venice, CA

Harrier could just as easily go to an L.A. city council meeting - since they would have the final say.

Also, if there is a Chamber of Commerce mixer you might be able to meet the right people to ask

Ping Pong tables are common, the transportation is the difficult part. Do you already know exactly where you will be staying in LA? You can probably find someone within a block and push it home. You can search craigslist for "ping pong" and "table tennis" or put a wanted with deliver ad like this guy ** WANTED** Outdoor Ping Pong Table ..w/Delivery ** WANTED ** , and sell it when you are done.
bpeeps thinks you shouldn't make fun of Harrier because Harrier is hilarious.

Thelopez2 offered useful information for Harrier's business question. Did Bpeeps not understand that hire meant rent?

Man, you can't even have fun on these forums because of people who take things way too literally. Obviously Harrier's comment was hyperbolic sarcasm.
