Thanks, dude. I believe we once got the very same advice from Tommy Chong.

lots of new residential buildings going up... so instead of a vacant lot, you now have a 25 story building with hundreds of units... many many cars to fill that up.

this happening everywhere in the city = chaos.

LA needs to expand its metro system like NYC, but who wants to take the metro? no one.
Having you ever taken the Metro? It's packed especially the new lines that recently opened. Have fun in your stuck on the Freeway car as I speed by on the train.

yeah, you see, living in a big city is about adaptation. and you know what happens when you can't adapt? see: Charles Darwin's theory of evolution.

I live 5 miles away from work and I go against traffic both in the morning and in the afternoon. I never take the highway. in fact, I live far away from all of them.

the people who get stuck in traffic on a daily basis are the geniuses who live far away from where they work.

"yeah but youngtraveler2011, they can't afford to live close to where they work!!111"

then they cannot adapt to the city & its high cost of living; therefore, they should move to Texas.

One in 10 are here illegally and they drive too. The solution isn't more lanes on a fwy.

It certainly is getting out of control, especially on the highways. I've noticed a lot of people speeding excessively on the highways lately, like they're at a race. I'm almost scared to take the freeway now.

Yeah, I hear that. When I get settled there soon, I'll avoid the freeways as much as possible too. I've experienced them enough as a passenger when visiting and it's quite intimidating.

So they're speeding in traffic

How does this make any sense?

Does that include a stop at Starbucks or something? I would understand if she was taking Sunset or some other main street the whole way. Since the area is mostly on a grid can't she take less traveled streets or are they all jammed?
