I hate to be negative but in July 2015 I moved out of LA for cheaper housing and for a better life. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. In Seattle I can atleast afford my apartment for $1200 a month including utilities. In the San Fernando Valley of LA I can barely rent a room for $1200 a month.

Here in Seattle I have met better friends that I had in LA. In LA I mainly knew people who used me for money. Here in Seattle I have met many caring friends.

I'm a 35 year old single white male.

Check out any city forum. Every forum will have people who are glad that they moved out. From the most expensive to the least expensive cities.

This will fall on deaf ears because this type of question will attract the most disgruntled, but yes, there will be people who are glad they moved out of L.A. and people who are glad they moved here.

Are you happy? That's all that matters.

TBH nobody cares. City Data A.K.A. City data personal diary.

As long as your happy we are all happy.

Your going to get people who hate living in any place in America.

Trust. L.A existed before you it will exist after.

[cue the disgruntled]

Why did you even come into the LA forum and start this thread?
So you went alll the way up to rainy Seattle to pay $1200? Thats not exactly a steal
If you couldn't find a place for 1200 in the Valley pal, I say you didn't look hard enough. I live just off Ventura BLVD and don't pay that much.

And also in another thread , you said you have no job. So how are you affording that $1200 pr/month?

Why do you always come back and make similar threads like this one over and over and over again?

For those of us who've seen your threads, saying the exact same things over again, I can bet none of us care. How many times do you have to keep repeating yourself and convincing yourself you're happier in Seattle?

I have money saved up in my savings account for several years of rent.

So you were an unemployed autist in your mid 30s living with your parents but people were using you for money?

You are the same guy that had never left his parents house at 35 and you're friends were using you for money?
You've also posted a zillion threads here and the Seattle forum looking for validation that you did the right thing and asking if you should move back to LA because your friends want you to etc. If your happy there then stay there and stop posting about it. Everyone's experience is different

I think it's where you live in LA. Westside is superficial. I lived for years in San Gabriel Valley and had any great friends.
