It is basically legal here so I'll be curious if it passes. Seems like it's not going to pass but when you look at what is going on in the economy for Colorado compared to CA economy people would be stupid to not vote for it

You are correct. Looks like current polls have it around 60% in favor and 35% opposed. CO and WA both collected over $70 million in taxes last year which was more then they collected on alcohol. And obviously there are more people in CA so tax benefit would be great and it has basically been legal here for years so there won't be much difference to the general public

I am voting yes. Cannabis is a relatively benign substance compared to harder drugs such as heroin, meth and cocaine, it's not physically addictive, and it has many legitimate medical uses with more being discovered all the time.

$70 million, what is that, 0.07% of their budget?
