low income people don't have the right to be subsidized by those who work their asses off.

Whats really funny, is that you people actually think this law will make a difference?

the city is gonna do what the city does. Take $$ from developers and let them do what they want.

If Measure S passes or not....it won't make one lick of difference to our corrupt city officials.

They will figure out a loophole...they always do.

True . It's funny that Garcetti doesn't even mention if this passes then it'll be worse for the middle class .. he just says it's going to make it harder to build housing for the homeless .

I think a lot of people think this not passing means L.A will suddenly be affordable for everyone which as you said is not happening .

I don't think that it makes you old.
And I hate snowflakes. You don't have to be republican to feel the same way. Overly sensitive people looking for safe spaces are the embarrassment of our generation.

And the Beatles are dope. Hope we can agree on that aswell.

But you seem kind of bitter towards the next generation. You have kids?
I understand that their's these "snowflake" types but that's not all of us.

You are saying "the opposite is true."
So you don't believe seniors are the majority of the voting block in off years?
They yield a lot of clout in off year elections.
They will be the ones to decide when it comes to measure s.

Bob.

This is the worst generation of Americans since the slave owning plantation generation. But millennials are the first generation raised when discipline was illegal and everyone started getting participation trophies so I blame their parents but those who are adults now need to start acting the part

No kids. and fair enough. I work with lots of hard working, and very smart kids. and to be honest, I feel bad for them.

It's bad enough the boomers messed everything up for them, but they're going to have to carry their entire generation on their shoulders. And yes, their parents did them NO favors whatsoever. the milennial

I guess that is what makes me the most sad...is that I know a lot of great, hard working and smart people aged 30-35 and they are simply ****ed..... but gen x? No one even knows we exist.

I'm not so sure. Unions everywhere oppose the measure as it can deeply affect construction employment over the next 3-4 years. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them were strongly urging their employees to get out and vote. But who knows.
