California man killed by boulder intentionally thrown from overpass | Daily Mail Online

This is becoming a trend around the country. I hope they catch whoever did it.

That's just monstrous. It makes you worried to even drive on a freeway... anywhere.

In the early 2000s I was n/b on the I-5 about Valencia Blvd when some jerk dropped a soda can (prob half full) right on my windshield. It did nada. I called CHP and they found nada.

Welcome to So. Cal.

We need cameras on the overpasses. Cameras stop crime.

isn't it sad when we live in a country or world, for that matter when we are talking about having cameras everywhere to protect us from society. I don't want to think what the world will be like in 50 years. I think I am glad God only puts us on earth for so many years.

Some kid found this big rock and thought it would be fun to throw it off the overpass.

Anyone that does that knows that they could kill someone. The kids (age 13-17) that did it last year in MI and OH all got caught and are all on trial for murder now.

Some people are just homicidal. I grew up with a kid that got arrested in high school for making bombs and back then people thought he just make stupid decisions because he was young. Well now he's 40 and in jail for life after already doing a 10 year stint. Both times he was arrested he took guns off the cops and shot two cops each time (total of 4 cops) and the last time he was arrested he had a stockpile of illegal guns, bombs and body armor in his home. Some people are just homicidal and there is no rehabbing them

The person who threw the rock is a sociopath.

I watch a news report on it and the reporter was on the overpass which does have a very tall fence curved inward at the top. The person who did this would have to be pretty damned big and tall to hoist a 35 lb rock that high above his head and roll it off into traffic. This is no little kid pulling a prank.
