Edgehill & 28th St

I can't figure out what area this would be considered. What's the area like (In terms of sketchy people, cleaniness, etc)

It's hard for me to say since I live up in the Valley. It's southwest of downtown.

Maybe this link will help somebody else answer the question.

I'd call that West Adams, but I'm not entirely certain.

you are correct.

i would be very careful going south of adams in that area, especially immediately south, and north of jefferson.

well, if it were peachy, i wouldn't have cautioned you against it. the areas to the north and to the south are much more tame, but that pocket just below adams is pretty rough and nasty.

West Adams area is correct.

There is very heavy gentrification happening in the area just north of Adams Blvd. Like katenik said..this area is still a rough patch. T

The gentrification is ocurring in the area north of Adams because there are a lot of beautiful Craftsman and Victorian homes in the area (the house from Six Feet Under is located in West Adams) and a lot of old Black Hollywood celebrities lived in the area which was called "Sugar Hill" back in the day.
