Still trying to figure out what your endgame is with these types of posts ...

but to answer your question, yes and no. There is very nice real-estate in MB, but its not massive sq footage like those in your link. The nicest/most expensive homes will be beach side (on the strand).

There are a few 10k+ sqft houses in MB, but they're not going to be on very big lots. I think the biggest lot I ever remember seeing in MB was about only about three-quarters of an acre.

Can you combine two mansions or more to make one big mansion or does the LA housing regulations not permit that?

Sure, why not? But what are the chances you are going to find two "mansions" on adjacent lots that are for sale at the same time?

Some cities allow that. I don’t know about MB(it’s not part of City of Los Angeles).

I'm actually 100% you're trolling, but just to play along - why would you do this? Just buy two and walk between them. Furthermore, if you're someone who could buy two $20M properties, you'd surely have access to larger homes in other areas - ie a ski house, ranch in TX or MT, etc. I dont see any reason why you'd need a 7,000 sq. ft. house in MB.

I believe there’s a max lot size now in MB, so while you are allowed to combine smaller lots if the combined footage falls under the max, you can’t combine two mega lots with a building that spans both of them. You could of course buy multiple lots, build the main house on one lot and then use the other lots for pools, tennis courts or guest houses. Last year, someone bought three adjacent oversized (for the area) lots, so it wouldn’t surprise me to see something like that built there.

It was super common in Santa Monica North of Montana about 10-15 years ago. Basically became a super upscale area but the properties were small.
