If you don't have funds, why bother remodeling? If you need to sell, talk to an experienced realtor who knows the local market and ask them what if any basic repairs you should make, clean the place carefully, declutter, price it appropriately, and list it. Why chase what you think buyers might want? You probably won't get the investment back. OTOH, if you were planning to live in the place for a significantly longer time (like years), remodeling to your taste and benefit might make more sense.

Agree w/ this advice.

If you're asking looking for someone who can help get your unit in condition to sell (i.e. you've lived there for along time and needs a little love, paint, carpet cleaning, etc), any good realtor will recommend what needs to happen, and will have the contacts.

Last alternative - ask around in your building or HOA.

Thank to the posters for words of wisdom, I took them deeply to my heart.

Still if someone living in L.A. area knows good, not very fancy and expensive
remodeling company, and would like to recommend them, please do.

thank eva

I think you might have better luck with responses if you ask on your local NextDoor group, people are pretty wiling to make referrals and that way they will be recommendations very local to you.

I agree with the advice to not remodel, just get it cleaned out and freshened up, maybe some paint, a deep clean from a move-out service can do wonders.
