I agree 110% and I am not from NY. I will admit to being a Dodger fan as a kid even though they were still in Brooklyn. I have no idea why, L.A had 2 farm clubs, neither had anything to do with the Dodgers, I was a girl and girls didn't even like baseball in those days and I really wasn't much of a tom boy either, but I took a liking to the Dodgers. Oh, I liked the Cubs too cause the Angeles were the AAA farm club for them. My parents were Hollywood Stars fans. Maybe I was just rebelling at an early age, like 10.

That is about as exciting as it can get: It almost reminds of the hay days of the late 50s and early 60s. I just read the Walter O'Mally book, great reading, yes, it a book on his life, but also on the history of the team...

Ok and tonight will be even better as we will win a series vs the White Sox- we are all in agreement although I had to do a double take when Nita spoke in the past tense about being a girl. Two things that should never change - you'll always be a girl and a Dodger fan ( unless you get a sex change and a lobotomy).

Pretty funny, Dodgers are ahead right now 3 to 1:

sex change and me, I hardly think so.. I guess I was thinking girl versus lady versus old lady or maybe old but not a lady, depending on who you talk to....

5 to 1 now...bottom of the nineth...

"The Dodgers, of course, have been doing a lot of winning lately, regardless of where they play. In their last 37 games, the Dodgers are 30-7. They were 30-42 when their run began."
