I do my best not to let the people know I'm photographing them by keeping the camera low and not looking down at it when I take the photo. At first I felt a little weird about because lets face it- its kind of an invasion of privacy, but I'm getting used to it. If you ask permission, they have time to prepare for it and you're not getting a true candid photo.

Can you tell me what camera do you use? I want to take class in digital photography and start taking this kind of pics. What kind of (beginner) camera shoould I get? Nikon and Cannon Rebel? How much should I spend? Please let me know, I have been thinking about this a long time and your pics really inspired me.
