How about the infamous Gravity Hill in Sylmar, or the abandoned crazy house here in the valley?

I'll bet there are ghosts in the Biltmore downtown. You might want to check with them. Or the Chateau Marmont? (Isn't that the place where John Belushi died?) I'm sure some of the hotels around town must have ghosts. Do a Google search -- then find the rooms with the ghosts.

Did anybody else read this thread's title and think this was going to be about the L.A. City Council?

When I was a kid we used to go to the old forest lawn cemetary in Hollywood where a lot of the old stars are buried. It is probably not accessable at night, but maybe you could make special arrangements. Or go during the day. Maybe some ghosts are morning people )
Stay away from skid row. Fun is fun, but getting knifed in the back by a drug addict isnt.
You sound like a college student. Why not rent the haunted room in the Coronado Hotel in San Diego and if you don't see any ghosts you could at least have a bang up weekend!
