I am looking into moving to santa barbara with a friend. I'll be working part/full-time, I don't know yet.
I want to start a band, play live shows, record and connect with other local bands. I know LA is not too far but I looked at the musicians section on Craigs list in SB there wasn't much.

My music is down the alley of alt. rock, punk-rock, post-punk. I don't want to be in a place where I struggle to find musicians to play with, and I can't drive out to LA everytime to reherase or meet musicians, once in a while it's ok. I would drive there to play shows of course. And my friend is going to UCSB so we can't live too far out and I like the idea of being a little out from LA mess.
