I'm not into drugs at all, but I see this as a sign of freedom.

L.A.'s medical pot dispensary moratorium led to a boom instead

Four years ago, when the Los Angeles City Council started to wrestle with how to control medical marijuana, there were just four known storefront dispensaries, one each in Hancock Park, Van Nuys, Rancho Park and Cheviot Hills.

Now, police say there are as many as 600. There may be more. No one really knows

Yeah. Prohibition is one of the costliest, deadliest and most civil rights threatening things that can be imposed by a legislature. Better to manage what people want and tax it and make it a contributor to society rather than a detriment.

Folks have been getting high for thousands of years. To deny that is delusional.

LOL. Yesterday I was walking on Wilshire near La Cienega and I saw someone taking a hit off of a pot pipe, like it was no one's business. I didn't smell it but it really looked like he was smoking weed on a fairly busy sidewalk in an area that's dominated by business offices. It was really out of place, but nobody else seemed to notice.
