I will be out in Santa Monica this coming September. I will need to go from Santa Monica to 8500 Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills. I want to avoid any freeways at all costs! Will my best bet be to just take Wilshire all the way from S.M. to B.H.? If so, how long should I plan for the ride? I have an appointment in B.Hills at 2pm. Is Wilshire a pretty easy ride - could I get pushed off on to another road and not realize it, in otherwords, does it intermingle w/other roads or abruptly cut off and pick back up at another location?

Thanks

You should be ok, just give yourself a hour. You should be very early with a hour it is only a 10 mile trip. Wilshire is ok, no unexpected turns to throw you off. Wilshire goes from Santa Monica to LA. This should show up on mapquest.com pretty well.

Personally I would follow mapquest directions on this from your hotel to 8500 Wilshire Blvd. Santa Monica to Beverly Hills is a short trip and the freeways would not help at any hour.
