We don't commute and have a Jeep and one of my gas card bills is $259 for last month which was cheaper than this month. One of the highest prices was in Pasadena for $3.75 and you all know it will most likely hit over $4.00 in a month or so.
Well, 2 weeks ago it got up to around 4.25 per gallon here in Northern Indiana, when I compared prices online it appeared many areas of SoCal were actually cheaper than here. I would not let the price of gas stop me from moving to CA, that's just ridiculous. But I can surely feel your pain with the gas prices today.

Try living in Texas, Ike just hit us and everything sky rocketed. Stores were price gouging (not sure if I spelt that right) a tiny bag of chips was $5. Gas went up, and then there was a shortage. You would have to wait in line for hours (one guy got shot for cutting in line) it was insane.

I noticed that last week in Burbank. It was as cheap in LA as it is elsewhere. Used to be like $0.75 or so more.
