Temple City Car Sharing (Fremont, El Monte: home, to buy, living)

Hi !!

I am Sam, i will live in Temple City from january to march, and i will work in Alhambra. My problem is that i don't have any drive licence.

Is there anyone who live and work in the same places ? We can arrange a car sharing ??

I was also thinking to buy a bicycle, di you know how long does it take by bycycle Temple City => Alhambra ??

I don't bike, but Alhambra is big enough that the time is going to vary depending where in Alhambra you'll be living. Check out the bus schedules, too; I'm not very familiar with Temple City, but Alhambra is well-served by buses. A lot of them also take bikes (there are those bike racks on the front of the bus) so you could potentially have the option of biking one way, riding home the other. It's not a long distance, but some of those roads are more bike-friendly than others. It might take a little experimenting to find the best route that is both efficient and safe and/or pleasant.

I'd consider asking at your new work if there's anyone interested in carpooling, if you haven't already. That's probably the easiest way to work that out.

Thx for your advices Uptown_urbanist, I'll live in the corner of El Monte av and Lower Azur av , in Temple City.

I have found few buses which are going to Fremont, Alhambra from Temple City. I have to take 3 different buses... It takes a little more than 1 hour..

Do you know where i can have the schedule of the buses ??
