Agree with you. We seem to have lost some of our better buffets around here. That's one reason I like Claudia Saunders so much.

If memory serves, the Brown Hotel has a great buffet for those independently wealthy. The Bristol isn't bad either, and more affordable.

just got back from the bristol hurstbourne... based on your suggestion... it was kind of good... turkey was dry.. but pumpkin cheesecake was delish....
