Well I live in Louisville, Ky and I don't like it here. I've been to E-town few times before and I found it boring. One of my family friends moved to E-town from Hawaii and couldn't even last 1 year so they decided to move to CA. I think Louisville might be a better place...there's a lot more to do, it's more diverse, more jobs, good schools.

One of the things all you "whipper-snappers" need to understand about "boring" places to live. Generally, as a parent, boring is good. Too boring is as bad as too exciting, but on the boring to exciting scale of 1 to 10, 4 to 6 is always good as a parent. While we want our children exposed to many of this world's offerings, "in your face" all the time is bad. It is proven that children's imaginations grow into knowledge and wisdom better without too many choices. Too many toys detract from imagination. It is amazing to watch a child with a large cardboard box, some crayons, and a bottle of Elmer's glue. Take a refrigerator box, cut some windows and a door in the side and watch children play sometime. Same for locations to live. I would much rather my child had a woods than a city park.

And I would much rather my kids have a city park playing with children of all races....you just WONT find that in suburbia. To each his own.

Absolutely, 100% agree! My kids love the simple things, things that force them to be creative and I am VERY happy with that.
