Yeah, definitely not cigarettes but people smoke hukas inside 360 everytime I have been there. I don't know if huka (hooka, whatever) smoking is somehow permitted in Louisville but they definitely do it there.

We've already covered this Missy, come into the city sometime, and explore some different cultures! Better yet, travel to NYC or abroad if you can afford it

Missy, you often talk about the lack of coverage of the south end, but from my experience, few in the south end know of its diversity (in parts anyways). I am talking about the Bosnian, Mexican, Somali, and Vietnamese enclaves in south Louisville. I personally know of a half dozen Vietnamese restaurants and several asian markets that are as good as any I have seen in NYC or San Francisco, only on a much smaller scale of course! Try some out sometime! Also, try some of the many Middle Eastern restaurants in Louisville and you will learn all about hookahs. If you are uncomfortable being the only English speaker in a place, try some places in the Highlands for example. Falafel House has great middle eastern food, live Al Jazeera TV, and plenty of Hookahs. Closer to you, you have Yaffa Cafe downtown which has nice hookas and smoothies. Who knows, maybe even someone is doing out in your end of town ( I rarely make it out there).

karma cafe >>> cafe 360

cafe 360 has horrible service and they don't clean their hookahs well. I'm spoiled, having had saudi neighbors, they only smoke one flavor per hose. Cafe 360 most definitely doesn't.

As for Wicks, I really like their pizza, they're pretty crowded on the weekends. Oshea's is a safe bet, I agree with the above poster. Pretty much anyone would be happy there.

If you like middle eastern food, check out Pita Delites in the Highlands at the corner of Bardstown and Grinstead, it's next to the Wendy's on Grinstead. They're very friendly, family-owned, quick service, good food.

Al-Watan is the best middle eastern food in the city, but they're on Hikes, the opposite end of Bardstown Rd.

Wow. Are you really as arrogant in person as you come across in this forum? I asked, and Missy asked, "what is a hookah" and instead of just answering you have to tell us both we need to come into the city. Speaking only for myself, I have no desire to travel to NYC or abroad "if I can afford it" or even to go into downtown Louisville or anywhere near it.

Thank you hun, I am the same way. "Exotic" foods are ok on occasion but give me home-cooked country meals anyday!

YouTube - Three Dog Night - Out In The Country (Live) (Sorta) (((Stereo))) Give it a listen. Kinda sums up my feelings for country living.
