Hey Missy Mo3,
I always get confused and mix up benedictine with what I thought my mom always called Watergate Salad(???) Is Benedictine the one with cucumbers, or is it the one with lime jello, cool whip, mini marshmallows and pecans? I know....I should be ashamed! I'm sure my mother has chills running up her spine as we speak! lol
MMMMMM watergate salad! I haven't had that in years!

What type of report are you doing? What grade? As a substitute teacher, I can help you get any info you want. One thing about KY is that, depending on where you live in the state, things like mint julips and derby pie may not be as popular as you think. I've lived in KY all my life in different areas. Hope this helps.

I don't know anybody who doesn't like Derby pie! Mint juleps is mostly a Derby thing (I don't drink at all but I hear they are expensive) but things like country ham, corn pudding,Deviled eggs and hot-browns I would guess are popular just about anywhere.
