The Georgia – Robins Aerospace Maintenance Partnership (G-RAMP) project is a proposed partnership between Robins AFB and the local community for the construction of an approximately 420,000 square foot aerospace industrial complex on 96 acres of land owned by the City of Warner Robins adjacent to Robins AFB. This complex will facilitate a Public-Private Partnership between the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) and private industry to share weapon system sustainment capabilities in order to improve aircraft availability and reduce costs.

G-RAMP is slated to be built on 500 acres behind Robins Air Force Base.

It will have 18 hangars and a professional office park and is expected to create more than 4,000 jobs.

Although this projects will be in Houston county it will also bring in lots of growth Macon and Warner Robins......

That's good news for the area. But the NSA 4,000 jobs is in the city of Augusta. So you wonder why Warner Robins has its own metro area. And is only apart of Macon's CSA. And why Aiken is in Augusta's MSA.

No, i don't wonder why, I said it stupid for Macon and W.Robins to have 2 separate MSA.....Keep in mind this project has not been built yet, and a large number people still travels to Macon for jobs and continue too when this project is complete. Also Proposed G-Ramp will sit on the bibb/houston county line with most of it in Houston. This project will boost the area as whole....
