Not at all! I understand that you are new and are yet to figure out all the personalities on the board. Let me just say that I have a dry sense of humor, oft times sarcastic, never (usually) mean anything negative by it. And I do use EXACTLY the smilies I'm feeling when I say something, so you should never be left guessing what I REALLY meant by what I said. So, when I smile you can guess I'm really smilin' at YOU!

I can add here that I have completely enjoyed your additions to the threads this week! Welcome!!

And are you a YaYa or a YoYo? I don't remember any of your posts so far being gender specific. Just checkin'!

elston, when I taught preschool in the late 80's early 90s I had the poster of All I Really Need to Know I Learned In Kindergarten.....it was a wonderful reminder to me every day of why I was teaching the younger ages

Just recalled......a few (many) years back I used to listen to Wally Phillips on WGN radio out of Chicago. He hosted the morning show. Selling houses was a topic that came up frequently. If you are having difficulty selling your house here is your solution (according to Wally and his audience). Obtain/buy/whatever, a statue of St. Joseph and bury it in your back yard UPSIDE down. In a short while a buyer will appear. Many callers to the show said it actually worked. Worth a try, eh EL? For you sellers in the cold climates, better hurry before the ground freezes.

I have St Joseph buried head down in my front yard near the for sale sign and I promised him he would go with us and have a place of honor in our new home in Maine. I am not what most would consider a Christian, but I figure if Joseph raised Jesus, he was a good man, and perhaps he can bring my beautiful home and a family that needs a home together and get me on my way to Maine, well why not. I toss salt over my shoulder, I say a prayer of thnksgiving before everymeal, I feel the power of the full moon and I bless as many as I can--so Joseph...carpenter, nuturing father, family man extra-ordinaire, if you can, please help me sell this home and send me on my way.
