Honey, I'm home!!!!!!!!! LOL

Got back from camping in western NH at 9 p.m. Had a good time, but would of been nicer if grandson had slept later than 6 a.m. Of course, he slept most of the way home tonight.

Glad you had a good time. I can't imagine leaving Maine to enjoy the scenery but I guess NH is pretty, too! Yes, I told myself Friday night when I stayed up way too late that I'd just sleep in Saturday since the girls didn't have school. My son woke up at 7:30 am anyway and told me different! Oh well!!

NH is very pretty, but Vermont is my favorite New England state. I love the mountains!
Why do kids wake up at the crack of dawn on a weekend, but hate to get up on a school day? LOL

Ok, I know the weather has been fantastic but where is everyone?! Two of the kids started school today--the 3rd grader and the HS freshman. They both had great days, and are happily going back tomorrow. The freshman came home and announced that her class is full of cute freshman boys, including one who grew about 5 inches since last spring, and the height makes him cuter.....I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow after she has a chance to check out the upper-classmen! The 3rd grader came home and announced that he LOVES his teacher, and when I asked what he liked best he said "She has a sense of humor! That's very important Momma.".....He's 9. My other 2 kids, a HS junior boy, and a HS senior girl start tomorrow. There are rumbles of freshman initiation pranks, but the admin would NOT let them get away with it, so the 9th graders are safe! Do any of you remember freshmen initiation?

Elcarim I read one of your posts that said "won't you be my neighbor?"....and now I can't get Mr. Roger's voice singing that song out of my head!! lol....thanks for that! I loved Mr. Rogers....especially the trolley, and the land of make believe--although I didn't like the purple panda people very much, that was a little too bizarre for me! well, I'm off to do the dishes...

I've been wondering where everyone is too. I can tell you that at 5:30 or so this morning, LTTT was online! Not sure what he was doing on here that early. Of course, I should tell you what I was doing on!

DH and I were up the entire night last night trying to finish the bathroom. We ran into an issue when the pipe that was previously connected to the sink started shooting water all over the floor. We both panicked and started grabbing for towels and buckets - anything we could get our hands on. At this time it wasn't funny, but now... Apparently the shut off valve on the wall broke. He had to run outside and turn off the water to the house. Anyway, we never went to bed and I've been up still all day today, so I'm turning in early tonight. No painting, no trimming, no cleaning - just ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Anyway, I came in here periodically just to sit down a minute and browse and found I wasn't the only one alive that early!
