Zymer you're right! it will! the registry doesn't list the "crime", so it's impossible to know what is the risk or danger.....I haven't been to the registry in a while, but I did check it out when we were looking at a house the next street over. Someone popped up who lived next door to the property, and after asking some of our friends in the neighborhood we got the scoop. At least the registry was able to tip us off to potential danger, but beyond that it really won't tell you much.

I just looked yesterday after seeing it mentioned here. While it does not tell you the exact crime committed it gives you what class of crime they were found guilty of. That tells you if there were minors involved or not. You can look up what each class of crime covers so you get a fairly clear picture. Plus some of these people have 3 or 4 convictions on their page, so you can draw your own conclusions from there. Some of it is kind of spooky to see how many there are.

that must be one of the changes that was made...that would help a lot I would think! I'll have to take a visit back there. I think it's good just to be aware--although in small towns people do clue you in too

Elston posted about the house not being shown a couple of days ago. I don't remember seeing Bewitched. She must still be creating, filling and shipping orders.

I don't recall seeing anything from Elston after the post about the deadbeat buyers not showing up after he'd gone to all the trouble of preparing for them. He may be a little discouraged. Boy, do I know that feeling these days!

Elston, pop your nose in and let us know you're still around! It'll all work out in due time!

I think his last post in this forum was a comment (in the 'liberal' thread) remarking that he was offended by a particular reference to sexuality I made in my comment about the possible offensiveness of of interjecting sexuality in the forums, in which he (inadvertantly?) proved my point.

He has made posts in other forums since. Whether his absence here is (a) coincidence; (b) embarrassment; or (c) perception of insult or judgement of a particular lifestyle choice, I have no way of knowing.

If the last, I apologize, as no such insult or judgement was intended.

Oh I hope he comes back, I miss his posts!

On a completely different topic, it smells so good in this house right now. I have a "pear and apple" crisp baking in the oven. It should be illegal for anything to smell this good. Can you get fat from just breathing in the aroma?
