Just heard Senator George Mitchell speak on the Lehrer News Hour on PBS.
What a wonderful man he is- so active in his retirement, so well spoken, such a professional and so genuine- all in all a great representative for the State O Maine!

"Yuletide carols being sung by a choir and folks dressed up like Eskimos. Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe helps to make the season bright......."

This is the only time of year DH lets me listen to my Christmas music. I tried in July a couple of years ago when the stores had a big "Christmas in July" sale. He said, "NO! I have to listen to that stuff from November to January already!"

So I like my Christmas music!

It brings back some very special memories of sitting on the floor in front of the record player (YES! RECORD PLAYER!!) with my grandparents, listening to the crackle and whir while Perry Como sang to us about mistletoe and such. Those are memories I'll never forget and feelings so deeply cherished every time I hear the music play!

right here....geez though, you wouldn't expect it to be wrong on Fox....grrr...
From what I'm hearing, the list is so long that only partial lists are being published at a time. That may be where the confusion is coming from.

I just don't have it in me to sit down and read that 400 page report verbatum.

If that's the Nat "King" Cole version, Elcarim, I compliment you on your choice of music.

You might hear some reindeer on your rooftop.

or Jack Frost upon your window sill,

but if someone's coming down your chimney,

you better load your gun and shoot to kill.

Love Nat King Cole. I have the tape Natalie cut using his songs with his voice over and she sang duet with him. That's a good one!

Just as an update: Brother is doing much better, they thought they were going to have to go back in yesterday morning, but ended up not having to. He is recovering fine and was joking with every single person who walked into the room while I was there. Still has a LONG way to go, but the return of the sense of humor is a good sign. Dr. said he won't have 100% mobility in the wrist again, but not a huge loss either. Best news, MaineCare is going to cover him until the first of the year, so he has some coverage for this section of bills. I have to believe it was all the thoughts and prayers turned his way. THANK YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!
