Oh yes blueberry whoopie pies! The cake part was loaded with wild blueberries in, I think, a vanilla cake. well, yeah....and the truck could break down, and it might snow up there tomorrow, and you might get stuck....and need something to eat to sustain you while you're waiting for help....or you might have to walk.....and you'd need the energy!! always best to be prepared in these types of situations....you know, just in case

You got it! Like you are reading my mind Molly. It is supposed to snow about 1/2" tonight and you never know, the Suburban might just have a hard time pulling the trailer to the dump (oops sorry, "landfill"). Or I could get scared with the snow on the road and have to take a few minutes to calm down and regroup, what better way to sooth the worry than with a couple whoopie pies right? LOL

LOL, then I'm not even going to get into what the store smells like in the morning when they are baking the fresh bread and rolls for the day, or that he has hot take-out lunches you can smell from a block away every day.
Kind of like the general store on Treats Island should smell like every morning, and noon. Fresh breads, rolls, cakes, brownies, cookies, and still hot doughnuts in the AM, by 5:30.
Damn, after 9, he's closed, I can't run up there right now.
