My Realtor emailed and apologized... saying this has been much more snow than normal (more than he said when he sold the place)-I wrote back-I am praying for MORE! It is lovely here-brisk, white, and perfect. I may be CRAZy-but I love this weather-I have a parka-snowboots-and a warm tidy house-why not love this winter wonderland! I think all the "evil snow" talk is to keep people away ( my family is saying "how can you survive there!") but I am sooo comfortable! I guess I must go along with it..."GasP..."it is frigid here...ohmy....i must move back to the "lower states" NOT! Like Molly Says...More snow!

You may well be right... like the myth (or so it seemed to me when I lived there) that Seattle is always rainy! I saw less rain the year I was in Seattle than in most other places I have lived, to be honest... or at least totally rainy days/weeks like "they" would have you believe.
A couple of friends 'fessed up that everyone plays it up, to keep the population down, and I think I believe them...
I also think I am safe spilling the beans HERE as I don't think everyone in this forum is at all likely to make a mass exodus west and blame it on me. LOL
I just hope that Mother Nature doesn't get this snow thing totally out of her system this year, delivering Maine an "open winter" (as they called it on the western slope when there was little snowfall) for 08/09 after I get up there!

Well, I just watched the weather and Caribou/Washburn area got 54.4" of snow in December. I thought we were getting a touch more than usual.
