Hello all. I'm thinking about renting a cabin on songo pond next summer, and was wondering if it's worth it. Is it a clean pond? Quiet or loud? Decent fishing? Read some mixed reviews, so I figured I would ask the locals and people who frequent that area often.

One site said it was below average water quality, but there are a bunch of houses and real estate on the pond. So these people bought a house on a lake they can't swim in? Doesn't make sense. Northern Maine land man you ever swim in it?
