Good morning everyone....

Yesterday I sent a note via DM because she hadn't been on in a few days and I was missing her I got a note back with some sad news....one of her dogs, a fifteen year old wolf hybrid, died late last week. We all know how very dear our pets are to us, and this dog certainly was very, very dear to Bewitched. Sometimes we hit rough spots in our lives, and the constant that we have is our pet. When this happens, they truly become more of a best friend than a pet, and this was the case with Bewitched. I just thought that some notes of encouragement, even just a short hello, would help. We may not see her for a while, but when she does come back I'm sure it would be nice to read through the thread and see the posts from her C-D friends.

We are very sorry to hear this, as we, too, are "animal folk" and understand the bond.

Our condolences to Bewitched for the loss of her beloved wolf-dog and I will be remembering them both in ritual this week.

From what Bewitched has told me of her dear Skye, she was indeed far more a best friend and certainly way beyond a beloved "pet." Although some of us seem to ignore what is so obvious to the rest of us, these creatures with whom we share the planet really are something quite a bit more than "cute" and "cuddly," although they're certainly that too.

Bewitched, dear heart, all the compassion I hold for my little sea poodle Mandy goes out to you, your Sean, and precious Skye.

Be well.

Stephen

I'm new to the site, but a loss for any person can deeply affect me.
I wanted to send a note to let you know that I'm sending wishes of strength and for all good memories to flood your thoughts during this difficult time.

Bewitched,

I am so very sorry for your loss of such a special being. I know words do not really help, but the fact that so many of us care and empathize may ease the pain a tiny bit.

Oh, Honey! I'm so sorry!!! I know how sad that can be when you have a long term relationship like that with a special friend that you've taken of. Keep your chin up! We've been missing you here!

To me, losing a family pet is one of the hardest things anyone has to go through. I empathize totally with your grief.

My heart goes out to you. I have an older dog that's been in and out of the vets for months and has had me worried. Just the thought of something happening to him had me torn up. Bless you for being such a good "parent" to your dog. She had a wonderful home and a great life because of you.
