We only got 3 inches. Not enough to bother shoveling. I drove up and down the driveway 30 times, to pack it all down nicely.

You might be able to hire a local kid to do your shoveling....
We don't have plow "boys"... we have plow "MEN"! Big strong burley types that drive wicked awesome pickups that make you drool.

This is the neighbors car across the street. He didn't clear it off this morning. All from last night, about 12" and it should be headed your way Mollysmiles! Hopefully the wind dies off the storm before it gets to you. It was blowing semi-decent today with gusts up in the mid to high 30's
Scott, I saw that on the national news tonight and thought of you immediately! It didn't look like fun out there.

That's why I drive a 7000# truck. "Oh hell no, not climbing that bank." Amazing what that amount of weight will plow through with enough speed. Made it through a few 5' plowed banks last winter with the beast. (Didn't make it through the 7' one though, that sucked hard.)

The trucks or the men? Hey, I'll drool over ANY man who can keep my life running smoothly for me!

Not too bad really. Light fluffy stuff with no body to it. Makes it a bugger by a field though. Couple of times I couldn't see across the street right here in town today, and the back fence was just a memory for a lot of the day due to the blowing snow. Haven't seen a plow YET. They sure could use a few lessons from Maine when it comes to removing snow.

Scotts truck makes me drool. I saw the pics of the burban last year, loved it - snowbanks almost as high as the power lines!

On it's way. It ended here an hour ago, and is headed East. We get "lucky" and happen to live just far enough away from Lake Michigan that we get the Lake effect snow here. It is very odd because we might bet a foot or two here and 5 miles either North or South of us doesn't get a flake.

That was the "Pretty" one the DW drives. Mine is a POS 3/4 ton 'Burban that will go darn near anywhere without the worry of scratching or denting it.
