At least you don't have a date WITH a pinecone!

I have a new pinecone, a turkey and a lot of cool fruit. Good thing it's almost lunch time, I'm getting hungry!

We counted weeks with the girls last night, because they kept asking how many more days until they get to start their new school in Maine. OMG!! 14 or so weeks? Are you kidding me?? Time is already getting away from me!!

I think we need to start cleaning out closets and packing the excess NOW. I also have to plan a big moving sale within a few weeks of leaving. February is not the best time for yard sales. I'm not sure about that one, but I'm definitely dumping the living room set and as much junk as possible. Oh, and the big screen TV. We're going to greatly consolidate. I need a list! I keep thinking of more and more things we need to check on/take care of/reserve, etc. Holy cow!

Sensing a little more anxiety as each day draws closer El. Chill baby, chill.

It will all work out, everything is going to be just fine. Take a deep breathe darlin' because you are wearing ME out.

Hey, I got my turkey!! This meal is getting better and better!

Now, I'm TRYING not to stress. Apparently, that character trait (which my grandma is TOTALLY responsible for passing down to me) doesn't come through in my posts. I am a fretter! I admit it. That's the first step to recovery, right?

Actually, it's my OCD gene - that and my control freak gene. I have to have a plan - set in stone - laid out on paper - and going smoothly at every turn. Unfortunately, since life never works quite that way, I fret a lot! Can't help it. Those who know and love me (and have actually met me in person ) have grown used to it. You will too! I hope.

My mother's favorite thing to say to me on these occasions is, "Tammy......CHILL! It's all going to work out!!! Just let it happen!!!"

Mermaid, you hit that nail on the head!

My boys really love being back at Old Town Elementary. My 8-year-old told me tonight that he likes it better here because "My teacher explains everything. It's calmer here." He also told me "I nev-ah want to go back to that school in Florida, Mom." Already picking up the accent again! I love it!

It's so nice that they feel so good about being back home. We're all glad you're home and safe now too.
