Common sight out my back door most mornings. I have better ones taken with the 35mm.

Just for Mermaid....our little buddy, Fred. I zoomed in on him, so he looks alot bigger. He is about 7-8 inches long.

LMAO!!!

I got a visual of you all dressed in camouflage with grease-paint on your face, sprigs of branches sticking out of the top of your helmet....mumbling to the animals under your breath as you set up the camera.

Not unlike the Bill Murray character in the movie "Caddyshack".

But, then again..I'm a lil tweaked.

Thanks. We love it here and I feel so much better. I actually took up walking again, heck at times I am apt to even run. LOL
We've had one cloudy day since we've been here. Actually overcast. I took some pictures as its rare to see. I thought the stars in Maine were bright until I saw them over the desert. WOW.

Man, that City-Data crowd gets around! I was heading over to drop in at Forest's place and KAFs this afternoon after my post office/bank run and guess who passed me on 95?

Well the van said "Northern Maine Land Lady" but when I pulled up to wave (wondering if my funky ol' pickup had been recognized), well it wasn't a lady at the wheel. <g> Good looking green shirted dude waved... so I guess the pickup had been duly noted.

Since you saw me get off the highway, I bet you figured where I was headed, too, Land Man...

You want to hear something intersting? I pulled up my link to Eastport Chamber of Commerce last night to watch the amazing video of the area for the 1400th time and now that tab won't close. Every other tab can be opened and closed in my web browswer, but when I click that one, it beeps at me, like it's chiding me for trying to shut it down. Gentle nudge reminding me of things to come? A sign? Very interesting, I think!

Here is the link in case you haven't watched it. Just select the "8 minute video" link on the left hand side: http://www.eastport.net/default.asp (broken link)

That's an insipiring video. One question, the airport was mentioned as functioning, I thought it had been defunct for several years? Anyone out there know?
