I'll see if I can find the recipe.

Thanks, Maineah. Tried to rep you, but have to spread it around first.

Question about Lightning and smoke detectors:

Its raining once again or still, not sure which. There is intermitent lightning and twice this morning the lightning has caused the smoke alarm to go off (just two and then three beeps). That is something new for me.....does that happen in Maine during storms with lightning?

MW get that leg up and rest--all day today.....yes, all day....we got caches to get Monday morning!! And beans to pick in the afternoon!
You guys are stuck with me today. Other than a shower I'm planted in this chair for the day with my laptop and a Sarah Graves book.

When you're done painting could you do my bathroom please? It still isn't done! And the kitchen. Then the livingroom. A couple of your sleepless nights could do a lot for my To Do list!

Four winters ago I did something stupid - tried to kick over a bucket of water for the livestock at the end of the day. I kicked them over, dumped them out and put them up for the night so that I didn't have to deal with solid ice the next morning. But, it was already almost solid and I kicked at an angle. It was frozen to the ground and didn't budge. Yesterday morning we hiked out to Grassy Pond. On the way back I mis-stepped on a wet log bridge thingy (log split in half and supported on beams, used to walk over wet spots), twisted my already grinding knee and fell hard, landing on the knee. I've spent all this time telling myself it'll be fine. It will be fine because I'm giving in. I'll have the surgery this winter. Mary showed me her scars. It looks minor and she was able to get up and walk quickly.
