Looking for anyone who lives in either Pittston or Gardener Maine.Trying to get some info on my G.G.Grandfather who came from Pittston. Also have been trying to get any info on a certain 18th century house for sale in Pittston that according to some records may have belonged to him or his Father.
Contact the Kennebec Historical Society in Augusta. 207-622-7718. they serve Kennebec County and are there on W, Th, F from 10 a.m. until 2:00. Ask them for the Pittston Historical society contact. I cannot remember her name. She is doing a survey, house by house, which is taking her a lifetime to do, of old houses and who lived in them. the Pittston Historical Society is very active, and they have a house, but they do not list themselves under the club name.
