1. Is there *anywhere* to park without a permit? Can you park on the New Biddeford Road or Route 9 and bike the rest of the way in?

2. Any places to eat?

3. Timber Island/Little River: I hear there is a really cool island just over the town line in Biddeford called Timber Island. Is it privately owned? Is it tresspassing? How long do you have to walk out there before the tide comes in? Can you walk over to Timber Point or will the landowners send you away?

4. Can you walk over to Granite Point in Biddeford at low tide or is the water too deep?

Thanks.

Goose Rocks - No, you need a permit. Just buy one. They are like $5. You can get them at the Kennebunkport Police Station.
We like to eat in Cape Porpoise - The Wayfarer & Nunans are our favorites. The pub/restaurant at the Tides By The Sea is really nice.

Passes are not required off-season. In-season you can also buy them right at the General Store in Goose Rocks. (The General Store also has a few spots which they rent daily).

As for Timber Island...from Goose Rock Beach when the tide is out you can just walk over and explore. Get in before the tide comes in or you will be swimming!

As for eating - the Tides Inn (if it is still opening this season) has a nice dinner (expensive). Otherwise, sandwiches/pizza can be purchased at the General Store. Fairly close by on Rt. 9 (on the way to Cape Porpoise) there is Lucas on 9 for good fairly casual food or go into Cape Porpoise for a number of other choices.
