My step-mother asked me Saturday if I'm ever afraid when I'm in the woods alone. She knows we've had two bears hanging around this summer. I said no but that when I was afraid last summer I carried a rifle. Wish I'd known about zucchini. I have a couple that could give a bear a concussion.

I agree... I know how far I can throw a "log-zini" (our term for the cordwood size zukes) and it is not nearly as far as I could shoot.

Yes and I'd rather have a batch of beer battered fried zucchini than bear meat though if one must defend themselves from a critter you may as well get a meal out of it!..... IMHO.

But can you shoot a bullet as big as a log-zini? Sometimes size matters.
