Hi there - my husband and I are thinking about a 3-4 night get-away for our anniversary in June somewhere in the Eastern Shore area. I've looked online a bit, but would love some insider advice! We're looking for something nice, but not over the top (so the Inn at Perry Cabin is not an option, to give you an idea)
Our priorities are waterfront, and a quiet place to enjoy the outdoors and nature. It would be great to be able to walk to restaurants, etc., but not a deal-breaker. We're open to private rentals, hotels/inns, resorts, or B&B's. Basically, a nice place in a relaxing environment, without breaking the bank
Would love any advice either in St. Michael's or another Eastern Shore location (but no Ocean City - don't want to be anywhere near a high-rise!)

We enjoyed the St Michael's Harbour Inn and Spa. It has a good restaurant, it's new and clean, and not as expensive as Perry Cabin. There's a nice view of a marina, and it's walking distance to shops.

Thanks for these suggestions. Does anyone know anything about Wade's Point Inn? Or a private rental called the "sailshed" that is right next to the marina, I believe (??) Or any other suggestions?

I haven't been there, but the view from Wade's Point is stunning. It looks a little isolated, and I'd prefer to have things to do nearby. But, that's a personal choice.
