Does anyone know where I could find a place to send us a free relocation packet with information, maps, etc of the area?

Also, is there another services recommendation type of site other than Kudzu.com that you would recommend? Here in ATL that is the most popular and provides a wealth of info when searching for a new hair stylist, Doctor, Dentist, mechanic, etc.... just wanted to see if there were any others that were good, or some that were specifically for families with children?

Thank you much!

Hello, My advice would be to get to know a realtor in the area you are planning on moving to.
The realtors in Maryland are expecting a flood of new buyers in the next few months from the people relocating to APG, and we are well prepared to handle the people who don't know the area. Most agents have relo packages they can give you.

Aberdeen Proving Ground (military installation in Aberdeen, MD) expected to receive large numbers of transfers from other military bases as part of the Base Realignment Commission recommendations.

There is a wealth of information out there. Have you narrowed down your search to an area? Where will you be working? Maryland is not that big a state but it is very diverse in it's communities and life styles.
