Hi, We are in the UK looking at properties via realtors to purchase in/around Elkton. We have family in NY and want to purchase ' a base' for when we come to USA. We may want to do short lets also. Is there a market for short term lets for ? nearby University/Colleges?
We have been to Elkton and Chesapeake Bay a few times, so we know we like MD. What we DON'T know is which are the 'nice' areas of Elkton and what are the areas to avoid i.e. those near detention centre, sewage, flooding etc? Can anyone help us re ? Meadow Park area; Elkton Landing?; Winchester Drive?; There seems to be an estate en route to Newark ? West Creek ?? nice/any good.
Of course living this side of the pond poses difficulties buying abroad.....so we're relying on you guys to help us with your knowledge of the area.
