Hello,
Could anyone please tell me how busy Romancoke, Rd. on Kent Island is. I am interested in purchasing a house that is right along that street. Thanks!

Hi Goodday,

It depends on where along Romancoke Rd you are buying. The first stretch off of Rt 50 is pretty busy, but then it takes a bend and ends at the water on the Eastern side of a peninsula. (If you carry on straight you go much further down and end up also at the water on the Southern side.) Very pretty road, nice houses, but can be slightly busy--often I think just with drivers having a nice drive, looking for a nice sunset and maybe some deer. Also, busy only by KI standards. You will get people going a little fast, but it's because the peninsula there is a little long so people just zoom on their way.

I'd go visit and take a look. Personally, with children/pets, I'd probably want to be off the main drag or at the end (but that has its own disadvantages--far from Rt 50 and Stevensville), but a couple without children would probably feel differently

Hi Goodday, I live off the Ellendale subdivision, just minutes from route 50, and romancoke on the strech I drive on is for the most part not too bad at all. On the days I've driven to southen side of the island, it wasn't to bad either... but I haven't driven to southern part of the island enough times to get a picture of when it's busy, when it's not busy... Hope that helps!
