Witness: Fan argued with staffer - The Sun Chronicle Online - News

I just read about this on mass.live

A Chicopee man died of a heart attack at this weekend's season opener. Apparently his 6 year old had just been invited onto the field, came back, and the father had a heart attack after arguing with staffers who questioned why his son was on the field?!

I feel soooo bad for this poor kid who just lost his father. How absolutely awful!

Tragic for all involved. So young and what should have been a great memory turned into a nightmare the family will never forget.

The man who died was only 40 years old... he must have had some sort of underlying medical condition. A healthy 40 year old man doesn't just have a deadly heart attack after a heated argument.

Yes but it doesn't change the fact that it is tragic for all involved.

I read the article. The staffer who gave the man a hard time should be fired & his name released to the public. Hopefully he gets his.

Its sad what happened & the man had to have health problems. The 6 yr old boy will have to "deal" with this tragic event for life. What a damn shame.
