Westwood, what should you know if you foreigner? (Boston, Quincy: safe area, safe)

Hello,
We are two students from Lithuania, and this summer we will work at Humboldt moving company. I read a lot in this forum about safe and not safe areas in Boston, but can't find information about Westwood. Is it foreigners friendly place? And what should I know about public transport, is there a possibility to reach JFK/Ummass station in 30 mins or less? And if Westwood is not a grate place for us, what place should we consider?

Very family oriented place, quiet, not cosmopolitan and probably very boring for young adults. Quincy would be so much better. More young people, diverse, more "energy", easier commute!
