I would like to find some different places to see
North of Boston. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try Appleton's farm, Russell orchard next to Crane's beach, Todd's farm flea market and trails next to the Beverly airport on route 97.

check out your local library. They often provide heavily discounted passes to local attractions or sometimes, even free ones! They also have great postings of events happening locally on a community board. Check out the MA DCR website for recreational activities at local state parks and beaches!

I am not too familiar with north of Boston...but I am sure libraries offer comparable services to metro Boston.

Good luck!

I don't know if you have been north of Boston. If not, you simply have to go to Salem. And to Newburyport to the Whaling Museum.

I don't really know north of Boston too well, but if you like beer the tour of the Sam Adams Brewery in Jamaica Plain is free and includes a beer tasting.

Newburyport has a whaling museum? I have never heard of it. I know New Bedford has the big one and Nantucket has a little one, but those are both well south of Boston.

It's a bit out of the way, but it's fun. I've done it a couple of times with friends. Weekends are quite crowded so show up early.
