Thanks everyone for your recommendations! I think I am going to try Westboro/Southboro Medical. I have to scope out where Metrowest Hospital is though. We haven't really nailed down our location (which makes this hard!!!) as we are still looking for houses, but I would prefer to travel to Framingham than all the way to Boston, and since Metrowest got good reviews (personal care, which I really value), that seems to be the best bet.

Thanks again everyone! I really, really appreciate it. This is all new to me! And very exciting.

Default MetroWest in Framingham

We haven't had the baby yet, but have chosen MetroWest in Framingham. We've taken the tour and so far I am very pleased with that choice. The staff is very, very friendly and helpful.

I had my last child at N-W. Metrowest does not have a pediatric ward (brought my daughter in there at 18 mos when she had a particularly bad case of croup and they ambulanced her to N-W).

I know plenty of people who have given birth there and haven't heard one bad thing about the maternity ward, though.

My first two were born in Seattle and there was no comparison between the experience we had in Seattle vs here. It was ok here--they saw to the basics and I have no complaints about N-W. It was just unbelievable in Seattle. Both times.

Good Luck with the baby.......We have taken my parents there on numerous occasions. I cannot say enough good thngs about them.
I still try to donate blood there...they are great also. I just donate in my parents name and when they need it, I believe they do not get charged . My mother has had numerous transfusions.
