northborough is on my short list of towns. I was at a cookout a few weekends ago & one wife made an off-hand comment "ya, southborough has some serious drug issues in the high school. heroin, meth, etc."...obvi n-boro & s-boro share the same HS...I think she was confused (did she mean marlboro?) but before I move there I just wanted to make sure this is poppycock. can anybody comment on Algonquin or westborough HS?

This. Point blank every town has a drug problem. Being aware and being proactive with your children is best no matter what town or city you live in.

Yup, can find them in every HS. If you're a HSer and want drugs, you'll have them.

Drug use may even be more prevalent in wealthier sleepy suburbs because the kids have more disposable income and nothing else to do.

Trafficlover, here are a some local news publications for the boros.

The Southborough Daily Voice
Southborough News & Events/Town of Southborough, Massachusetts
My Southborough

The people I know who graduated from those schools and the children of the people I know from those schools are pretty healthy and wholesome, well-adjusted and respectful of family.
