I was in Lee yesterday after hiking in the October State Forest. I love the Berkshires but I hate seeing cars with Mass plates and Yankee stickers. It's so jarring.

Not really. I have a close friend who grew up on the family farm right on the Connecticut River. He's a Yankees fan. His wife is a Red Sox fan. That's been several decades of good-natured banter. Until the Patriots got good and everybody jumped on the bandwagon, it was also very much a NY Giants NFL place.
